About Frederick Allen

Gospel Singer, Musician, Author, and Radio Personality Frederick Louis Allen was born in Florence, SC to Oscar Louis Allen and the late Flora Belle Burch Allen. Allen joined and accepted Christ at Timmonsville Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Croghan, SC on August 7, 1988. He began to play the piano at the age of five and served as the minister of music under the leadership of the Reverend Dr. B. W. Freeman, Reverend Jerome Johnson. Allen attended Central High School in Pageland, SC where he was a member of the marching band, concert band, pep band, concert choir, the honors choir EAGLETONES.  He was the drum major in the marching band during his 11th and 12th grade years and also served as a student compliment for the concert choir. 

He is a licensed and ordained minister that has served the body of Christ for many years.  Currently Frederick is the interim Minister of Music at the Historic Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Wadesboro, NC.  

Allen's educational background includes Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC, Professional Career Development Institute (Ashworth College) in Norcross, GA and Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He has 30 years of marketing experience and works professionally in funeral service as the administrator at Monroe Mortuary Services in Polkton, NC. He holds professional memberships with Anson County Historical Society, Wadesboro, NC where he made history as the first African American secretary to the board. He is also an active member of Anson County Branch of NAACP where he serves at the chairperson for the Juneteenth Celebration and the Annual Freedom Fund. He is a former Executive Board Member at Rhythm of Gospel Awards in Jacksonville, FL.

Allen will publish two upcoming books later this fall and plans to record LIVE in the spring of 2025.
