Lorenzo Steele, Jr.

Department of Corrections

Former Corrections officer, visual artist, author, prison reform advocate. 

Lorenzo has appeared on television networks such as WABC’s “Like It Is” and recently on CNN discussing Rikers Island solitary confinement units.
He has serviced numerous agencies such as the National Association of Mental Illness NAMI, Administration for Children's Services, United Federation of Teachers as well as Nassau/Suffolk school systems.

    College Student - Guest Co-Host

    He is a 2014 graduate of Anson High School in Wadesboro, NC.  He has studied at UCLA and currently a student at Richmond Community College
